In a heartbreaking incident on Friday night, four Kanwariyas lost their lives, and several others were injured when a speeding SUV ran over them in Bihar’s Banka district. The victims were on route to the Jast Gaur Nath Mahadev temple after collecting holy water from the Ganga at Sultanganj in Bhagalpur district.
The tragic accident occurred in Nagardih village, under the Fullidumar police station’s jurisdiction, when the black SUV plowed into the group of devotees. The vehicle sped away from the scene, leaving behind a trail of chaos and grief. The injured were quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical care.
Local authorities have launched an investigation to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle responsible for this devastating crash.
